Just to let everyone know, I'm not dead, just not had a lot to blog about recently, although if i was dead here's a list of the people I would like my death blamed on:

Quite frankly I find the fact that bin men are unhappy with their wages an outrage and I cannot believe this; they earn anywhere between £30,000 and £50,000 a year* with benefits including BUPA, company pension, free gym membership and they can keep anything thats being thrown out. I wouldn't mind but the fucking cunts don't even do a proper job any more.

Upon opening the shop today I noticed that there was NO STOCK! Silly Boss Cow had cleaned out the whole shop and effectively closed the business without telling me! What a cow! My alarm code didn't work either, so I just left it running!

Luckily, it had all been just a BIG FUCKING DREAM and that I no longer work there! I now have a much, much better job, at a nice company, working with nice people, which is fucking wonderful! 

Normally the idea of playing a Second Life style game would be like the idea of wanting to play "Staple Gun my bollocks to the table and time how long it takes to get the staples out", but given its web browser version of a Life type game and that i's by Google, I figured I'd at least give Lively half a chance to prove it's worth.

The current sop is definitely related to car tax, either fuel duty or road fund tax. And as ever the wise opposition finds it time to make up complete bullshit to make it look like they care (while at the same time quite happily ensuring the Westminster gravy train carries on regardless, below inflation pay rise my arse).

Anyway...

I'm finally making the leap to .NET 3.5 and becoming an Official Visual Studio 2008 developer. Not to bore you with technicalities but the new LINQ functionality will take our online API development to the next level (allowing SQL statement filtering in XML feeds amongst other things) so as I had a bit of a window this week, I've finally upgraded.

So I've not posted for a while, but there's a good number of reasons, the first of which ties in with the post title.

So what's BUPA got to do with anything I hear you wonder out of politeness because you've read this far and you figure you might as well see what it's all about. So here's the thing: I've had cancer. No joke, no exaggeration: I had bladder cancer. It's a mild cancer, easily treated and the long term prognosis is excellent so this isn't a "goodbye cruel world" post or owt like that, so why "Fuck BUPA"?

Lets face it... tennis is fucking wank! If you're a member of a tennis club, the likelihood is you joined to be able to watch 14 year old girls get sweaty without having to sign on to the local sex offenders registrar or even more disturbingly, you probably spend far too long in the locker rooms after practise with young boys. I believe the police refer to it as "grooming"...
