Your children can buy naughty things online (if you let them of course) !!!11one :\
When I see and hear this bull shit all over the fucking internet I truly despair with the thinking, funding and the whole shibang that ensues with so called government watchdogs. In Olde English my piss doth boil...
The BBC article makes for painful reading...
Welsh Heads of Trading Standards (WHOTS) carried out the investigation. Six local authorities enlisted volunteers aged between 12 and 16, who then tried to buy 18-rated video games online, paying for them with postal orders.
So thats six staff paid to conduct this fucking research at £30k a year each, then paying for 44 copies of Grand Theft Auto 4 at £50 a pop and then paying the volunteers for their time. Are you fucking kidding me?! Is this seriously where an allocation of public funding is going?!!!???!???!
"This survey shows how easily children can gain access to age-restricted, violent video games," said Lee Jones, acting head of trading standards at Bridgend County Borough Council.
No... no it really doesn't..
This is like putting a child in a play pen full of razorwire and after publishing some shocking photographs, telling the public its easy for children to get hurt whilst playing in them.
It's like asking a load of emos to listen to Helter Skelter by The Beatles repeatedly for 4 hours then locking them in a room with a table full of paracetamol and linking their ritualistic suicides to their black clothes and stupid haircuts.
It's like eating McDonalds every day for 30 days and then after you find you're on the brink of death, telling the public McDonalds is the root of all evil.
Oh wait, that's been done already... :\
Worse things children can do and see online include:

A Nanny State
I was actually going to have a moan about this one. First of all though was it really necessary to include the goatse link - ive just had a chicken butty.
"Children are able to illegally buy violent video games through online auction websites"
"Of the 44 purchases attempted, 38 traders went through with the transactions"
"Traders selling goods over the internet had "a responsibility to make sure they have methods in place to avoid breaking the law by making under-age sales"
In other words, sellers on ebay are at fault. Jesus this makes me fucking angry. How the fuck can it be the fault of sellers? What the fuck are they supposed to do? Send a fucking age verification officer round to their house to check their age?
This is yet another fucking excuse to remove any sort of responsibilty from the person in question and hand it to somebody else. If a child* (*read teen) buys a game that is for over 18 then they should be royally fucked by the law and not sellers. Go on fuck off!!
Parents..... Bitch Slap!!!
What do you need to buy something online?
A credit card!
How old do you need to be to have a credit card?
18!
Basically the retailers get the payment they can only assume someone 18 and over has allowed it. Basically this survey was the equivalent of parents going into the shops themselves to get the games for their kids. I'm sorry but this makes the survey completely void.
Solo and Visa Debit cards
Most sites these days allow you to use a Solo or Visa debit card which you only have to be 16 (or maybe younger) to get.
I'm sorry but this should be down to fucking eBay to verify, not the seller... they charge enough in cunting fees so the least they can do is implement Age Verification from their side to justify them.
But yeah, I did assume that you had to put a credit card into eBay these days to use it.
