Unbelievable price hikes

Recently after having a wander around shops and supermarkets ive noticed that a lot of shops have hiked their prices up by a totally un-fucking-acceptable level.

I was in game the other day and I notice that they have a buy one get one free "offer" on. Now we all now the "lets double the price of an item and call it buy one get one free" scam but game have taken it to a new level. Yes those all time greatest dirty bastards have actually a platinum game in that offer. £30 twatting quid for a platinum game??? I don’t fucking think so you robbing bastards.

In farmfoods - yes that purveyor of unhealthy frozen food has actually super hiked their prices. Things that cost 39/49 pence last week have gone up by 10 pence and things that cost over a pound have gone up by 50 pence. Not on everything but on some things - or in other words THE STUFF I FUCKING BUY!!!

Asda have majorly hiked the price of bread as well. Warburton’s toastie which is the king of bread (usually NOT fresh from asda) has gone from 98p to £1.16. Smart price bread which was 22p is now 37p. That’s almost doubled in price. Where do they get these prices from?

Now it may all sound like a minor whinge but if I actually bought all these things then that would be making a serious hole in my pocket.

it seems the price of the two most essential items in the world, bread and milk, has been increasing for a few years, I can remember when bread cost under £1 and milk cost about £1 now it's about £1.50 for bread and £1.20 for 4 pints of milk, tis stupid!

Gotta love the Christmas Con

They'll drag you in with the offers of cheap booze then rake it all back with their increased prices everywhere else... or at least thats Asdas deal this year. I didn't notice when I bagged my 3 cases at Tesco for £20 that anything had been increased too much but we only buy the cheap shit anyway... will be back to abuse the cheap booze for another 120 bottles of Becks this week... 30p a bottle is cheap no matter what they're charging for bread and its not like you need anything else.. ;)

Facts

1. The wholesale price of flour has rocketed recently. So this seems in line. Why not bake your own?

2. During Nov and Dec every year, the retail industry employs a "Winterval Tax". This is to help protect consumers from any unforeseen value or savings which would normally be found on the high street. See also "Parent Tax", which is added to products during the Xmas period to make the "new year sales" appear like actual sales.
