Stewart Lee, Comedy Genius

The Daily Mail once again rises its readers into armchair psychobabble and causes an urge for State Sponsored Comedy with it's latest article on the brilliant Stewart Lee, "What prompted comedian's tirade against old schoolmate Richard Hammond?"

To save you from the awful tripe that the Daily Mail and its readers comments spout, I'll quote the best bit, from Stewart Lee himself :

‘I wish he had died in that crash and that he had been decapitated
and that his head had rolled off in front of his wife and that a jagged
piece of metal debris from the car had got stuck in his eye and blinded
him.

‘And then his head had rolled on a few more yards into a
pool of boiling oil and that his head had retained just enough neural
capacity for him to be able to think “ooh, this is bit hot" before the
whole thing exploded into tiny pieces.’

The Daily Mail then goes on to force it's opinion on you with a "loveable" picture of Hammond at the side, all cheeky looking and boyish, despite being 39.

Is it that hard for sheeple to understand that there doesn't actually have to be a reason behind the hate and that Stewart Lee could possibly just not like him for who he is and what he represents? Are we all now that conformist that we have to believe the persona of Hammond as that "likeable scamp" and anyone that deviates from that is wrong.

One of my favourite comments was someone who simply says he should be "Banned for life". I could say the same fucking thing for the paper itself for the twisted fallacies the Daily Mail prints every fucking day. Lee states his opinion at least, rather than using subliminal messaging and language manipulation to force its ideals into the back of your head, ready for the next bigoted point of view for you to choke down and believe.
